This single level, waterfront home in Bundall has everything in its favour with the exception of its dysfunctional layout unchanged since 1975.
The owners gave a clear wish list of design elements they had seen throughout their travels and previous family homes. With a footprint of just 231sqm, it was important to be extremely smart with the layout.
This project is a great example of how much wasted space there can be in an outdated home. Previously a cramped, awkward layout, the new design makes you really wonder what we were thinking in the 70’s. Having just started works onsite, we look forward to sharing the final reveal with you very soon. In the meantime, here are the before and after concept plans.
